ILX LIGHTWAVE FPM-8210 Fiber Optic Power Meter   (FPM-8210)

Product Outline

The ILX Lightwave FPM-8210 Fiber Optic Power Meters measure optical power from bare fiber or connectors through the same input port for reliable comparison. Virtually insensitive to polarization state or to pattern changes from fiber orientation, the meters deliver repeatable high-resolution results. This factory measurement system will drive down your component PDL specs while increasing your test throughput. Optimized for bare fiber measurements, the integrating cavity in the FPM-8210 offers a longer bare fiber measurement zone than any other measurement system. The fiber can extend from the holder anywhere from 1¿5mm with essentially the same measurement results.

Features

  • ±0.001dB typical polarization-dependent response
  • ±0.003dB measurement repeatability
  • Single input port for both connectorized and bare fiber measurements
  • Measure up to +33dBm at pump wavelengths (ë<1000nm)
  • Adapters available for most common fiber optic connectors
  • Analog output proportional to power measurement
  • GPIB/IEEE instrument interface
